Dr. Miriam Galindo, a licensed clinical psychologist and social worker, helps individuals and families through her Irvine, California, private practice. Dr. Miriam Galindo has also served as a child custody evaluator for the Orange County Superior Court Family Law Panel.
Dr. Galindo studied at California State University, Long Beach, from which she earned her Master of Social Work with an emphasis on children and families and a sub-emphasis on public health. The university honored her with its Outstanding Masters Graduate Award. Dr. Galindo then enrolled at the Trinity College of Graduate Studies, where she received her Doctor of Psychology. While there, she authored a dissertation titled "Religion and the Best Interest Standard in Child Custody Evaluations."
An individual active in her professional community, Dr. Miriam Galindo belongs to the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts as well as the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Moreover, she is a registered and credentialed child play therapist through the Association for Play Therapy.
